The main controller configuration window will appear, as seen in the screenshot below. To open and manage the controller settings for Dolphin, from the Dolphin's main window, navigate to Options -> Controller Settings, or simply click the "Controllers" button.
2.1 Real GameCube Controller (GameCube Adapter). I have 2 auto configure files in retroarch-joypads, same name, one with spaces, one without. Was using a wireless xbox 360 controller before with no issue, but since have reset my controllers via the setup script. Emulation station works fine, inside games would recognize all but hotkeys. Notes: Using 8bitdo firmware 2.67, RetroPie 4.1.10, I started with 4.1.0? and upgraded when I couldn't get controller to work. I finally got it to work by bringing up RetroArch config inside a game, and configuring the buttons from there, not really sure why the buttons don't match, but I imagine that is part of. I noticed when running jstest that the button numbers didn't correspond to the numbers used in RetroArch config - which may have something to do with it. I recently got a pair of these and had a heck of a time getting RetroPie to correctly use them in games. Now it works in the each emulator 100% of the time. I have no idea why this was such a pain, but I can only imagine I kept skipping over a step or something changed subtly in the most recent RetroPie release that made this not work smoothly. In /home/pi/.config/retroarch/autoconfig and /home/pi/.config/retroarch/retroarch/autoconfig, I cp/ls'd the files from /opt/retropie/config/all/retroarch-joypads. I manually set this to the autoconfig directory in the /opt/retropie/config/retroarch directory. In /opt/retropie/config/all/retroarch.cfg there is a commented out line for joypad_autoconfig_dir. Has anyone seen anything like this before, or have any suggestions? I have no idea why the Autodetect isn't working and I can't find many references to that message. cfg file generated and living in /opt/retropie/config/all/retroarch-joypads/ (both there and in a sub udev folder, as a test). I enabled verbose logging when launching a ROM, and I do see the following in /dev/shm/runcommand.log: RetroArch :: : Hotplug add mouse: /dev/input/event0. The only thing I can see that indicates something is wrong is during game startup, a message comes up in the lower left corner of the screen saying: 100%: The 8Bitdo SNES30 GamePad Joystick is not configured (0/0) I've tried countless instructions for various different things, including downgrading the SNES30 firmware and manually adjusting the cfg files. The SNES30 controller pairs and does seem to work just fine within EmulationStation, but doesn't work within any of the emulators I've tried (all nintendo, for what its worth). I've been trying for the last few hours to set up a new SNES30 controller with a fresh copy of RetroPie (v4.1.10).
